ARTQ: It Came Upon a Midnight Fear: An Advanced Rogue Trader Quest Battle Report

Season's greetings vaqueros, and welcome to a very special edition of the Funky Wenis Rodeo. Today we are sampling the game of Advanced Heroquest, a headstrong and complicated brew, but with a lemony sci-fi twist, making a delightful cocktail of carnage, shuriken fire and space vampires from another dimension. Prepare yourself for...

WARHAMMER 40k 2nd ED BATTLE REPORT: COVENANT OF TERROR

Greetings once again vaqueros - today we continue the adventures of the Squat Heavy Industrialist's Union, as seen on such famous blogs as Leadplague and Lead or Alive.  The Industrialists made planetfall on the outlying resource planet of Cubos IV after brokering a sweet deal from the planetary governor to mine resources in a war-blasted portion of the primary continent in the southern hemisphere. Little did they think they would encounter the likes of orks in their mission to mine, but there are far worse things than orks out there in the galaxy. Prepare yourself for:

Come now on a journey that is laden with guilty pleasure, like a battered, deep-fried Adriano Zumbo pieburger dipped in chocolate. See what happens when three good friends, with three nicely painted armies, come together for one big battle. Come and witness the might of...

FACTIOUS WASTE: Playtesting an up-coming game from Oakbound.

My good friend Fimm McCool has asked me to help playtest his up-coming dystopian skirmish based narrative driven miniatures game about recycling responsibly. The name of the game is Factious Waste and it's the first time in my life I can say i've been genuinely excited about sorting trash. Joining me in testing the game was Count von Bruno, who brought his Necromunda Eshers along to kick some butt and take some PET plastic.

Click HERE if you like evil space Dorfs and things that brillig in the slithy toves. Gyring and gymboling optional.
Come with me now vaqueros and experience life in the Outlands... you will never look at WOOD the same way again.*

The Pure: The Untold Story of Chaz Elliott's Snakemen

This illustration from The Lost and the Damned supplement for Warhammer Fantasy Battles 3rd Edition shows a four-armed snakeman joining a legion of man-beasts on what appears to be a door-to-door charity cookie sale.
